A highly recommended read if you want to more solid understanding of Classical Mechanics.
As the book title suggest, it will only provide you with the minimum you’ll need to know to get you started in more serious physics, or rather Classical Mechanics. There are still many other areas left unexplored.
It starts off with simple kinematics, Newton’s law and mechanical energy; and stretches to advanced topics on Analytical Mechanics like Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics. It gets difficult really quickly so it's important not to rush through this book.
I’m really impressed how clearly and elegantly it explains Classical Mechanics, which is notoriously difficult. Most textbooks on Analytical Mechanics are really daunting and can’t be understood unless you have very solid mathematical and scientific background.
Definitely a challenging read and some background in physics and calculus is recommended to understand this book. Suited for high school students looking to stretch their abilities and undergraduate physics students to refine their understanding in physics.
Not to mention its really cool and nerdy looking book cover design!
